News has broken that beloved stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are returning to their iconic characters in the latest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The film is currently in production.
An Important Comeback for the Franchise
The duo are slated to play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the roles they originated. Speculation suggests their cameos will probably be featured in a future-set scene, given that the original saga concluded with their characters married and with children.
This marks the sixth cinematic outing in the global Hunger Games franchise.
