The City of Angels witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area events included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
