Barça Ready for Historic Fixture at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday
The club confirmed they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. Athletic Bilbao will visit the Bilbao team in domestic competition two and a half years after they moved out so building work could begin.

The stadium will not be at full capacity with 45,401 fans can be present as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the stadium’s capacity will reach over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. Barça announced finished work included a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.

Barcelona held a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch in early November. They mentioned approval is being pursued by UEFA to host the next European match versus the German side next month at the stadium. Previous fixtures took place in the temporary ground.
